This is my example of good typography. I choose a Diet Dr Pepper can. This type is fun and exciting. The Type has a lot of shape and curve to it. A good typography makes you want that product or take a closer look at it and I think that that is what this does.
For an example of bad typography I chose the side of a lunch box. It’s boring and not interesting. The type is very generic and did not take a lot of thought.
The typeface on the coke does match the shape of what is around it.
ReplyDeleteMy only question for the side of the lunch box is if was necessary to make it more than generic. Perhaps they already put their message across on the top. It's hard to tell with the picture that I am given, but I'm just wondering if it would have been necessary to make it really fancy and flashy as I don't believe that EVERYTHING has to be made that way.
God beginning!
